Laura Egan

Laura is a certified speech pathologist who is passionate about helping children grow in confidence and reach their full potential. She values the importance of building strong, supportive relationships with clients and their families.

With experience working with children across a wide age range – from toddlers through to high-school aged students – Laura provides support for a variety of communication needs. Laura brings a warm and engaging approach to her sessions, helping children feel comfortable and motivated to learn.

Laura delivers high-quality evidence-based therapy. She has completed training in a range of specialist programs, including:

  • Hanen – It Takes Two to Talk – a parent led approach targeting early language development in young children
  • Hanen – More than Words – a parent led approach targeting social communication and language in children with Autism
  • Sounds Write – a structured phonics-based approach to literacy intervention
  • PODD (Pragmatic Organisation Dynamic Display) – for children who use AAC
  • The Lidcombe Program – a parent-led approach to managing stuttering in young children
  • Key Word Sign – supporting understanding and expression through visuals (signs)
