Why is Youthrive different from the others?

Our Purpose

Youthrive is a social enterprise with the purpose of improving the lives of as many kids and young people as possible. Through evidence based therapy we empower families and equip kids and young people with the skills they need to thrive. Our fee-for-service model creates a stable and growing source of revenue for Act for Kids.

Our Model

Youthrive’s unique integrated therapy model means that your child will benefit from a whole and cohesive treatment plan that caters for the cognitive, behavioural and emotional difficulties your child may be facing.

Collaborative

Youthrive’s integrated therapy team of psychologists, speech pathologists, dietitians and occupational therapists work together to develop a tailored plan for children and their families. Children benefit from integrated therapy as therapists are able to analyse the child’s needs as a whole and not just focus on one specific issue or outcome.

Convenient

Our unique model allows busy parents to access therapy services they need to benefit their child’s development in one convenient location. Unlike other medical clinics that may only provide one form of therapy, Youthrive offers a complete array of services to make your life easier and lower your child’s anxiety as they become comfortable in one environment.

Connected

We recognise that therapy doesn’t end when you leave the clinic and will work with the people in your child’s life to ensure what they are learning in therapy is being applied to their everyday lives. Our team works alongside medical practitioners, teachers, and parents to support children’s learning and development.

Fees and Funding Programs

At Youthrive, we aim to provide a high quality and friendly service to help children and young people develop and achieve their goals.

Our Services

Youthrive is a unique service that provides four types of therapy – psychology, speech pathology, dietetics and occupational therapy for kids and young people.

Impact

Youthrive is a unique service that provides four types of therapy – psychology, speech pathology, dietetics and occupational therapy for kids and young people. Our integrated model means children and young people receive a high quality of professional support in one location without the stress and cost of travelling to separate service providers. A child may need one, or a combination, of the three therapies. Each client’s integrated therapy plan will ensure they achieve better outcomes than if they access separate/disparate services. We don’t expect, or need, kids to fit precisely into “classifications” or “boxes” – we assess their individual needs and develop a support plan to help them achieve their goals.
