Jacqui Petselas is an Occupational Therapist who holds a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy and is registered with AHPRA. She has over seven years of experience working as an occupational therapist, supporting children and families across a wide range of developmental needs. Jacqui has also completed additional training in DIR 101 and the Get Permission Approach to Feeding, which inform her collaborative and family-centred approach to therapy.
Jacqui was drawn to occupational therapy by her desire to help people in practical, meaningful and engaging ways. She is passionate about supporting children to build skills, confidence and independence through play-based therapy. Her areas of interest include feeding support, sensory processing and school readiness skills, and she enjoys working closely with families to help them feel supported and empowered in their child’s development.
In her role, Jacqui is committed to making therapy fun, engaging and tailored to each child’s individual needs, while supporting progress across everyday skills such as emotional regulation, play, motor development and independence in daily routines.
