Youthrive’s unique integrated therapy model means that your child will benefit from a whole and cohesive treatment plan that caters for the cognitive, behavioural and emotional difficulties your child may be facing.
Youthrive’s integrated therapy team of psychologists, speech pathologists and occupational therapists work together to develop a tailored plan for children and their families. Children benefit from integrated therapy as therapists are able to analyse the child’s needs as a whole and not just focus on one specific issue or outcome.
Our unique model allows busy parents to access therapy services they need to benefit their child’s development in one convenient location. Unlike other medical clinics that may only provide one form of therapy, Youthrive offers a complete array of services to make your life easier and lower your child’s anxiety as they become comfortable in one environment.
In addition to sessions in our clinics, our team can provide therapy at home, in the classroom and in the community, working alongside other medical practitioners, teachers, and parents to support children’s learning and development. We recognise that therapy doesn’t end when you leave the clinic and will work with the people in your child’s life to ensure what they are learning in therapy is being applied to their everyday lives.
The Youthrive team are passionate about helping kids and young people reach their full potential.
Our dedicated team of qualified professionals provide a number of therapy services including Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology and Psychology. They have worked with clients with a range of needs and embrace Youthrive’s collaborative approach to therapy.
What if my child doesn’t need all three therapies? Can they just see one therapist?
Of course! You and your child can access support services from one, two or all three disciplines. A benefit of our service is that if the clinician identifies additional area’s in your child’s life where they may benefit from multiple integrated therapies and you give consent, they can discuss with the relevant practitioner and present you with a treatment plan.
What if I can’t afford all three therapies?
There a number of health rebates and government funding that may be available to allow your child access to the healthcare services they need. We’d be happy to talk you through your options and explain what may be available to you.
I don’t want my child to miss school. Can we come before or after?
Absolutely. We have flexible hours at all of our clinics to suit busy families! Have a chat with our receptionists to find a time that works for you.
Do I need a referral?
No, we can complete an assessment on your child following a self-referral. Please note however that you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate which requires a referral to be completed, typically by your GP, psychiatrist or Paediatrician.
Are my child’s sessions confidential?
What age groups do you work with?
We work with all children from birth to 18 years of age. We see babies and toddlers for issues around feeding, communication and play to school aged children and teenagers across a range of emotional, behavioural or developmental issues. We also work with mums and dads who may need a little extra support of their own.
