Youthrive is a fee paying service, however some Medicare and private health insurance rebates may be available. Prices indicated below may alter upon your child’s individual needs and some funding streams incur different charges. Please confirm charges when you book. Click here for NDIS pricing.
Youthrive requires payment on the day of service. Any invoice not paid on the day of service will incur an additional fee of $3.00.
Cancellation fees apply for non-attendance no-show and short-notice cancellations within 7 days of the scheduled appointment.

*Initial consultations vary upon your child’s individual needs. Initial consultations range from 1 to 1.5 hours. Generally, initial psychology appointments are parent only consults. Children typically attend initial dietetic, speech pathology and occupational therapy consultations. Please check if your child is required to attend at the time of booking.

*Non-face-to-face services are supports provided to clients/families outside of their direct therapy appointment. Examples of this at Youthrive include the clinician’s time preparing for your appointment such as reviewing documentation, identifying appropriate therapy activities to engage in to achieve you/your child’s goals, setting up and packing down the therapy space, reflection and documentation following the session.
Home/school/centre visits are charged at the rates above the session and travel time plus a non-labour cost of $0.96 per kilometre of travel. Letters/reports/resource development are charged at the rates above.
Rebates and Funding Programs
Although you do not require a referral to see a Psychologist, Dietitian, Occupational Therapist and/or Speech Pathologist at Youthrive, if you have a referral from your GP, Pediatrician or Psychiatrist, you may be able to receive a rebate for our service. We encourage families to speak with their GP and nominated health fund to find out whether they are eligible for any of the rebates listed below. Please note that these rebates are subject to change without notice.

Better Access to Mental Health - Medicare
A referral under this Medicare service is typically obtained following consultations with your GP or Paediatrician. Individuals who have obtained this referral may have access to up to 10 rebated sessions per calendar year. A rebate of $88.25 is available when seeing a Psychologist and $129.55 for sessions with a Clinical Psychologist.Make an Appointment
Chronic Disease & Complex Needs Initiative (Formerly known as Enhanced Primary Care Plan)
A referral under this Medicare service is typically obtained following consultations with your GP, Paediatrician or Psychiatrist. Individuals who have obtained this referral may have access to up to 5 rebated sessions per calendar year. A rebate of $55.10 is available regardless of whether your child sees a Clinical Psychologist, Psychologist, Dietitian, Speech Pathologist or Occupational Therapist.Make an Appointment
Helping Children with Autism (HCWA) - Medicare
A referral under this Medicare service is typically obtained following consultations with your Paediatrician or Psychiatrist. Under this initiative, 4 sessions may be available for assessment purposes. Referrals can be made for children under 13 years old for assessment purposes and under 15 years old for therapy. A rebate of $88.25 is available for clinical and general psychology, and a rebate of $77.80 is available for speech pathology and occupational therapy.Make an Appointment
Follow Up Allied Health Services for People of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Descent Medicare
Follow up allied health items are available to people of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent on referral from their GP. A rebate of $55.10 is available regardless of whether your child sees a Clinical Psychologist, Dietitian, Psychologist, Speech Pathologist or Occupational Therapist.Make an Appointment
Better Start for Children with Disability - Medicare
A referral under this Medicare initiative is typically obtained following consultations with your GP, Specialist or Consultant Physician. Under this initiative, children with an eligible disability may receive a rebate on 4 sessions for assessment purposes and a further 20 sessions for therapy purposes. A rebate of $77.80 is available for sessions with a Speech Pathologist or Occupational Therapist and $88.25 when seeing a Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist.Make an Appointment
