Skills for Neurodivergent teens
Specifically designed for neurodivergent teens aged 15 years and above. This program aims to support the development of everyday wellbeing, increase understanding of self and individual needs, mindfulness skills and distress tolerance.
A semi-structured, small group program incorporating group discussions, activities and individual tasks to support the development of resilience and developing a healthy sense of self.

Wednesday afternoons at 3.30 – 4.30pm.
Week 1: 19/07/2023 – Getting to know myself (support and accommodation, sensory needs, spoon savers)
Week 2: 26/07/2023 - Getting to know myself (my values, strengths, challenges and spoon savers)
Week 3: 02/08/2023 – Mindfulness (what is mindfulness?)
Week 4: 09/08/2023 - Mindfulness (how can mindfulness help me?)
Week 5: 16/08/2023 – Mapping my emotions and coping strategies (describing my emotions)
Week 6: 23/08/2023 - Mapping my emotions and coping strategies (knowing the coping tools that work for me)
Week 7: 30/08/2023 – Building my sensory toolkit
