Happy Hands is an evidence informed program that provides young children with the opportunity to develop fine motor skills used for successful handwriting.
In the Happy Hands program, you will learn practical strategies to help your child to participate in writing at school and complete everyday routines and activities in the home.
What do children learn in the program?
The 6-session program is offered in 1.5 hour sessions, to target functional pencil grasps, give your child independence to write their own name, learn the letters of the alphabet and increase hand strength and dexterity.
- Craft and play ideas for the home environment suited to your child’s needs.
- Small group (3-5 children) sessions for an individualised approach
