The Youthrive team are passionate about empowering children and young people to achieve their goals.

Our dedicated team of qualified professionals provide a number of therapy services including Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Dietetics and Psychology. They have worked with clients with a range of needs and embrace Youthrive’s collaborative approach to therapy.

Here's what we are looking for:

Graduating soon? We are seeking passionate Graduate Occupational Therapists to join our team!

As a Graduate Occupational Therapist you will be supported through our 12-month Graduate Program. You will be provided with extensive learning and support to help you successfully transition from student to allied health professional. You will develop your knowledge and skills and gain competence and confidence as a therapist.

  • Two weeks of graduate specific orientation including a comprehensive introduction to our practice procedures, the NDIS and occupational therapy assessments and interventions.
  • Shadowing days.
  • Weekly clinical supervision with a senior clinician. Increasing to fortnightly after 6 months.
  • Monthly group supervision.
  • Monthly internal professional development workshops.
  • External professional development opportunities.
  • Team Leader support.
  • Gradual increase to your caseload.
  • Opportunity to work as an Allied Health Assistant prior to graduation (optional). Start building your skills and developing a caseload now. You’ll be supervised by a clinician and offered opportunity to workshadow and attend training – which will further assist in your transition to therapist on full registration!

Limited graduate positions available at our Everton Hills, North Lakes and Robina clinics. Opportunity to commence in 2023 or January 2024 in a part-time or full-time role.
What are the core tasks of a Youthrive Graduate Occupational Therapist?

  • Deliver individualised and group therapy services to children 0 to 18 years.
  • Conduct assessments (sensory, visual motor integration, developmental), analyse results and reports on funding for children and young people.
  • Participate in clinical case discussions to ensure holistic care is provided to clients.

What skills and qualifications do you require to work for Youthrive?

  • Strong interest in working with children and young people with complex needs including autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays and disability.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy and hold full registration with AHPRA.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
  • Eligibility as a Medicare provider.
  • A current driver’s license.
  • Full vaccination with the prescribed number of doses of an approved COVID-19 vaccination or have an approved medical exemption.

  • Conduct assessments (articulation and phonology, literacy, language, pragmatics, dysphagia), analyse results and reports on funding for children and young people.
  • Participate in clinical case discussions to ensure holistic care is provided to clients.

What skills and qualifications do you require to work for Youthrive?

  • Strong interest in working with children and young people with complex needs including autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays and disability.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology and hold Provisional Certified Practising Speech Pathologist status.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
  • Queensland Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
  • Eligibility as a Medicare provider.
  • A current driver’s license.
  • Full vaccination with the prescribed number of doses of an approved COVID-19 vaccination or have an approved medical exemption.
